"The updates specifically dictate that the Navy fraternization policy prohibiting certain types of relationships is applicable to relationships with members of other U. armed services and with members of foreign military services," said Lt. Kim Dixon, spokesperson for the Navy's chief of personnel's diversity directorate which issued the change.

"As a result of a scheduled policy review, it was determined the policy needed to be updated," said Cmdr.

We know it can be tricky to get things started when you're serving in the army so we've come up with some simple advice to help you make sure that your new romance can flourish no matter where you're stationed. Like so many others who wear a uniform to work army singles have dedicated their lives to the service of others.

Per OPNAVl NST 5370.2C, "Fraternization" is the term traditionally used to identify personal relationships which contravene the customary bounds of acceptable senior-subordinate relationships.And if you want to meet army guys, this is the site for you! All those dazzling uniforms are calling your name and you know it!Here you can find a soldier in the army, even when they’re away in travels as they can likely still check their email from time to time. Individuals responding to the incident will maintain confidentiality to the greatest extent possible. All Commanders, Commanding Officers and Officers-in-Charge are charged with ensuring the reporting requirements are met and personnel are educated and trained upon accession (within 90 days to the extent possible) and annually thereafter, in the area of fraternization as outlined in OPNAVl NST 5370.2C. Pacific Fleet, I will not tolerate fraternization or favoritism.

Ensure all civilians within their area of responsibility have read Section 2301, Title 5, United States Code (Merit system principles) and Section 2302, Title 5, United States Code (Prohibited personnel practices). Proper social interaction among officer and enlisted members as well as civilians is encouraged as it enhances unit cohesion, morale, and esprit de corp.

Although it has most commonly been applied to officer-enlisted relationships, fraternization also includes improper relationships and social interaction between officer members as well as between enlisted members, regardless of the service affiliation of the other officer or enlisted member, including members of foreign military services.
